In my opinion the best value for your dollar upgrade is usually replacing your stock cushions. The Sure-Grip Super Cushions are similar to their Powerdyne cousin the Magic Cushions in style but not in price. I’ve heard great things about these but not sure what plates they will work on. If you use these and have an opinion please let your fellow skaters know.

They are amazing! They fit all surge grip and snyder plates without modification. I run yellow barrels and blue cones at 2s0lbs (6’5”). Check out Khiros if you want to change the suspension for Riedell plates.

The 2nd generation cushions definitely fit the Reactor plate as well.

I love these. They fit Powerdyne plates as well, and are so much cheaper than Powerdyne’s cushions.

I really love these cushions!!! I have the purple ones on my Avengers and I have noticed such a huge difference!!!! I love them because they give you good flex, and it’s not dangerous like loosening your trucks until they’re all wiggly and about to fall off. I have seen this happen. Luckily the skater didn’t get hurt. From what I’ve heard, they fit almost any brand of plate. Or at least a wider variety than what the Powerdyne cushions will fit. You sure can’t beat the price.
