Powerdyne - Moonwalker

New toe stops just released from Riedell and will be available at Championals. Here’s what they say about it.

Made of a natural, non-marking, rubber compound wrapped around an anodized lightweight aluminum stem for outstanding durability and consistency on every skating surface. The distinct tear-drop shape gives more flex, bounce, and control while the signature dimples offer more bite when starting and stopping. Available in Mint, Blood Red, and Electric Yellow for $20!

  1. i’m completely boggled about how dimples will offer more bite. i’m going to get more traction by having less surface area contact the floor?

I think the concept is similar to the traction of a tire. All I know is that my gumballs slide across sport court, so I am willing to try these out ASAP!

I’ve tried them (at Rollercon) and have to say I did like them on Sport Court surface. The holes kinda allow the toe-stop to flatten on the surface and it gets a better contact on the floor. They seem softer even than Gumballs do and that’s a lot softer than other stops I’ve tried. The colors are cool (I got red) and my friends all want to try them.
