Back from his winter hibernation it is Derbytron. Didn’t know our derby overlord had to sleep but we do not question the all-knowing Derbytron.
For the third straight year, Gotham ends the year on top of the Derbytron rankings. This year, they actually backed it up with a championship. The past two WFTDA champions round out the top three.
The Derbytron has released his newest rankings on the heals of the North Central Tournament but I’m not sure why Minnesota is STILL ranked below Detroit. Stupid math.
Carolina is up 4 spots with a dominating win over Atlanta and after weeks of slowly creeping upwards, Gotham has taken the top spot away from Oly.
With almost no separation from #9-#24, Philly moves up and Minnesota moves down substantially after their close game in Philadelphia and most of the other teams in that area shift a few spots.
Some minor movement after a somewhat slow weekend in derby. The Top 10 holds steady with the Big 3 still way out front of the rest of the pack.
After two weeks off, WFTDA play is back and so are the Derbytron rankings. Chicago moves up 4 spots after avenging their Brewhaha loss to Arch Rival at home.

Atlanta rises 15 spots after their surprising win over Houston to just outside the Top 25. Arch Rival is right behind them after moving up 9 with a big win over Ohio.
Boston moves up ten spots to get back in the Top 25 after winning in Maine. Plus, another week and another Top 10 team finally plays some games, KC drops a couple spots after beating Nashville and Atlanta.
Charm City moves up ten spots to #11 after dominating in London at the Anarchy in the UK and Cincinnati sails into the Top 10 after a big win over Fort Wayne.
Steel City rises seven spots after their close loss at Boston and Maine jumps to #31 after their momentary lapse near the bottom of the rankings.
Dutchland continues their impressive streak and is just one away from the Top 25 and Philly moves back closer to the Top 10 after dominating Atlanta.

Derbytron 3.0 launched the other day at a new URL. www.Derbytron.com No huge surprises in his rankings but love sharing them with the world. The debut unofficial rankings of 2011 are released with Rocky Mountain in the top spot and Denver back in the top 5 after their strong performance at Wild West Showdown.
